Presented by Dr. Brette Harding, M.D. 

Dr. Harding is an Assistant Professor and the Division Chief of the Head and Neck Surgery Division within the Department of Otolaryngology at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine.


Dr. Harding treats a broad range of both benign and malignant diseases of the head and neck, including mucosal, salivary gland, cutaneous, and endocrine conditions. In addition to her expertise in treating these complex diseases, she specializes in reconstructive surgery for cancer defects, with experience in everything from local reconstructions to advanced free tissue transfer techniques.

Dr. Harding earned her MD from Eastern Virginia Medical School and completed her ENT residency at the University of Missouri. She went on to complete fellowship training in complex head and neck oncologic surgery and microvascular reconstruction at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, before joining her current department in the summer of 2023.
