Welcome to the G.V. Black District Dental Society!

The G. V. Black District Dental Society is a component (local dental society) of the Illinois State Dental Society and American Dental Association and has been serving the profession of dentistry since 1929.

The Society was named in honor of Dr. Greene Vardiman Black, who was born in 1836 in central Illinois and is known as "one of the founders of modern dentistry". Today, the Society has 155 members who are located in Sangamon, Logan, Menard, Cass, Morgan, Scott and Montgomery counties and a portion of Macoupin County within Illinois. Members includes general practitioners as well as dental specialists.

The Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) has officially opened the license renewal portal for dentists and dental hygienists. Renew your license online with IDFPR by September 30, 2024.

You are receiving this email because you are an active licensee and may not have renewed your license. Please note that if you have not renewed your license, it will expire on 09/30/2024.

To renew, visit the Online Renewal website https://ilesonline.idfpr.illinois.gov/DFPR. and follow the instructions listed. We have provided renewal tips for accessing the Renewal System at: https://idfpr.illinois.gov/ORI.asp.

If you currently do not have an Online Account, you will be required to register before proceeding to the renewal application.

Please note that when renewing online: No changes will be applied to your record unless your renewal has been submitted.

VISA, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Debit Cards, and eChecks are accepted (Please note that no credit card nor bank information is retained by IDFPR). A convenience fee will be added to the cost of your license renewal for vendor processing costs.

If you renew after the expiration date of the license you will be charged both a renewal fee and a late fee.
